Launched in 1999, AB Jets is a full-service charter operator with a growing fleet of Learjet 60s. We’re seeking an Aircraft Interior Specialist to join our maintenance team. Responsible for crafting, repairing, and maintaining the interiors of our fleet, this role requires a well-rounded skill set, including hands-on troubleshooting abilities and a strong commitment to quality and safety standards. SCHEDULE
Known days off. Your schedule is primarily Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, we anticipate a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends, so we’re looking for candidates who have flexible schedules.
RELOCATION
We operate a floating fleet with aircraft all over the U.S. Our full-time maintenance staff, flight schedulers, and executive team work from our beautiful Memphis, TN headquarters.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspect, repair, and replace interior components, including seats, sidewalls, headliners, carpet, cabinetry, veneer, and laminate surfaces.
- Troubleshoot and repair interior components such as cabinet doors and armrests, ensuring proper functionality and alignment
- Work with various hand tools and materials, including leather, fabric, synthetic materials, and laminates, ensuring compliance with FAA and OEM standards.
- Conduct quality assurance inspections to meet company, FAA, and OEM quality and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and repairs performed
- Report any damage, wear, or safety concerns
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment

- Driver’s License Required
- Ability to pass initial required training
- Comfortable working in various positions, including standing, kneeling, and reaching
- This is a safety-sensitive position, and candidates must pass pre-employment and periodic drug and alcohol screening
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in aircraft interiors, upholstering, or a related field is preferred but not required
