Three Executives Earn Certified Aviation Manager Status

With the delivery of their first of three new Challenger 3500 just around the corner, AB Jets celebrates another hat trick with a triple win. Three members of the executive team have officially earned the National Business Aviation Association’s (NBAA) prestigious Certified Aviation Manager (CAM) designation. President and owner Andrew Bettis, Director of Operations and co-owner David Turner, and Director of Client Services Jennifer Dow each completed the rigorous training and examination process to become certified as CAMs. 

The CAM program, administered by NBAA, recognizes professionals who are “Prepared to Lead; Committed to Excellence.” The program is widely recognized for its depth, rigor, and real-world relevance, making this triple accomplishment especially noteworthy. Less the 1100 aviation professionals have earned this certification.

“We’re beyond proud of our leaders,” said Andrew Bettis. “Achieving this certification is a major feat on its own — for three of us to do it simultaneously speaks volumes about our determination to lead from the front.” 

David Turner added, “Our industry demands precision and discipline. The CAM program reinforces the high standards we commit to daily, to make safe, informed, and strategic decisions. It’s an honor to be recognized among aviation’s top professionals.”

For Jennifer Dow, whose leadership focuses on delivering seamless, high-touch client experiences, the CAM certification reflects her drive for continuous improvement. “Private aviation is personal,” she said. “Clients trust us with their time, their privacy, and their plans. With this achievement, AB Jets joins a select group of operators led by CAM-certified professionals, further affirming its commitment to top-tier service, operational precision, and safety-first leadership.
